Nick and Gill Davis, who live next door, bought the old barns and fields at Nancy Wheeler's stables after her death in 1998. The aim was to continue the equestrian interest which has, in some form, been in the village for over fifty years.

Gill has had horses all her life and Nick's career has given him experience with the refurbishment of old buildings and so the team was well qualified for the venture. Whilst the planning process took some time we really enjoyed converting the barns and designing the new stables.

Our manager, Mary Ransome, with help from Vanessa and Sally, will make sure that our guests and their horses have all that they need.
